Celebrating Parenting
The National Parenting Support Commission (NPSC) is the national coordinating body for parenting support programmes throughout Jamaica. The NPSC offers services to parents, such as a national helpline and facilitator and parent mentor training to assist local parent groups.
Parenting Education & Training
The NPSC conducts a range of training sessions that seek to help fathers and mothers feel more empowered about the support and guidance they give to their children.
Practitioners who wish to access materials related to these and other topics may contact the NPSC.
The National Parenting Support Commission (NPSC) is an agency of the Ministry of Education, Youth & Information (MoEYI) established by an Act of Parliament – National Parenting Support Commission Act (2012).
We all want what is best for our children, but being a parent is not always easy. That is why the NPSC brings together reliable information and resources about raising children and caring for yourself.
